To support the Power of Play campaign, Sportsnet wanted a site where fans could create and customize their own hockey cards. After uploading their photo and choosing their card template, users can input their name, position, and team name, and then share via social media. Working with developers, a back-end moderation and email notification system was built.
Sportsnet's Power of Play campaign is presented by Chevrolet, and tells often-unheard hockey stories, from small town hockey communities to some of the biggest NHL players.
